Condolences for Elizabeth C. Wright
As our mother used to say "death for the Christian is graduation." Though Libby and I were five years apart we enjoyed many activities together through the years. She was a "no nonsense person" but loved her family and others, caring for those in need by preparing meals and visiting in homes. In the words of Scripture "she served her generation" and is now home with her Lord.
Aunt Elizabeth and Uncle Paul took me into their home for the holidays when I was in college and my family was living overseas (her brother Gordon is my father). She was my favorite aunt and my husband and I named our younger daughter using the Swedish version of her name! She and Uncle Paul came to visit us in New York soon after our first born daughter was born. They made a special effort to come. She was always warm and hospitable and loved the Lord dearly! Sending love to all my cousins and other family members. I am so thankful that I happened to be visiting my father the week she passed away and support one another. So thankful she could live with Paula and Sam these last four plus years and that all of her children were able to be with her many times before she died. Until we meet again I am praying for God to bless you and may the Lord comfort and strengthen each and every one of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends and family.
Your mother was a beautiful soul. I had known her since I was a little girl going to the East Flat Rock post office. All of you were so blessed by the parents God gave you. My deepest sympathies.
