Condolences for Linda Lee Laird Barnette

Dear Barnette Family, Just wanted to let all of you know we are thinking about you and wish to express our sadness in hearing about Linda’s passing. The last time Evelyn and I saw Linda was at that wonderful family reunion she organized when my parents were still alive. We look back affectionately and remember Linda’s radiant smile and infectious spirit. Recently, over the past 2 months, Evelyn has lost both her parents and a good friend sent us a quote that brings us solace as we look up at the evening sky. We wanted to share that with you. “Perhaps what we see in the sky at night are not stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.” And knowing Linda’s glowing personality, her star is the one that is twinkling. Sending healing prayers and loving hugs, Rocke, Evelyn, and Sandy Hill

I am sorry I did not know that Linda had passed away. I got to know her when we worked together at Crosswalk at First Baptist. She had so much fun with the kids and was always so pleasant. I also always enjoyed seeing her and Jim at Music On Main. She was a very good dancer. I will miss seeing her when we get to go back to the dancing. I am sure she will be missed.
