The flea market will not be the same without Alvin "the produce man." I will expect him to be sitting there in his overalls ready to say hello. He was always very generous to me and his customers. He was a friend. Alvin will be greatly missed by many!

Alvin loved the flea market and we worked side by side. He was a loyal friend, showed great strength through all his sickness, and will be missed by so many, especially me! I hope he continue to sell apples, honey and jam in heaven along with his wife and baby girl!

Alvin became a very dear friend of ours about 3 years or so ago when he started staying at our motel in Bryson City. He would be here about every weekend when selling his produce at Uncle Bills flea market. We solved all the problems of the world from rocking chairs on our porch . He made a friend of everyone that was staying here and they never fail to ask about him each time they return. He will be missed by many and remembered fondly by all. My prayers for the family. You were his life !

Alvin Harding never knew a stranger, and his "never give up" attitude was an inspiration to everyone who knew him. He was one of the hardest working men I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. I will miss him greatly.

A fixture in Pickens and at Uncle Bill's Flea Market will be missed by all. The friendly and positive attitude that greeted everyone will be remembered by many.
“From the initial meeting and throughout our different times the attentiveness was nothing but outstanding.”
“All aspects of service to be provided were explained in detail in a calm and reassuring way.”
