I had the distinct honor & privilege to serve as Ellen’s visiting pastor...what a delightful lady & sister in Christ. She was eager for others to hear the good news of salvation through Jesus, and we had many times of prayer & Bible reading together at her facility. She found it tough to be so disconnected from the actual gathering of believers for worship, but did her best to connect through viewing her favorite ministries on television. I miss her and send my heartfelt condolences to this precious family as they gather in N.C. to celebrate her life.

Ellen's love of Heather, Jamie and dogs was so BIG! We visited with our pup and Ellen was so sweet to MJ, and would laugh and tell stories about her family, and dogs. She had a deep faith in The Lord, which was inspiring, especially given all the changes she had been through. The most heartwarming of all was Heather's and Gregg's devotion to Ellen, they went above and beyond to make sure she was taken care of and truly lived "WWJD." Prayers for Heather, Gregg, Jamie and all of Ellen's family.

Mom, I miss you more than words can say. I know you are with Jesus, which is my true comfort. To say that you are now more joyful and free than we can ever imagine is an understatement. Thank you for leading me to Jesus as a little girl, which has given my life the greatest meaning. I'm so thankful to God that we shared the last sweet years of your life together. I will love you through eternity.
