William Lee "Bill" Obermiller

November 23, 1962 - August 8, 2018

William Lee Obermiller, 55, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at his residence. A lifetime resident of Henderson County, he was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas E. and Lois Beseke Obermiller. He was also preceded by his sister-in-law, Susan A. Obermiller.

He was a graduate of Hendersonville High School and served in the US Air Force. He was the former co-owner of Carolina Specialties Construction. He was a friend of Providence Baptist Church and had attended Trinity Presbyterian Church in his childhood. He was also a member of Gold Wing Road Riders.

He is survived by his former wife, Lisa Loftis Obermiller; a daughter, Holly Obermiller of Flat Rock; two brothers, J.D. Obermiller and his wife Lisa of Hendersonville, Robert Obermiller of SC; and numerous in-laws, nephews, and nieces.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30pm Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Providence Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:30-3:15pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church Local Missions Fund, 1201 Oakland St., Hendersonville, NC 28792.
