Ronald Clyde Thomas, 70, of East Flat Rock was born September 4, 1949 and passed away Monday, October 14, 2019 in his home surrounded by family. Ronnie was the son of the late William Clyde Thomas and Mildred Virginia Lewis. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Mark Thomas; and his sister, Lucy Cox.

Survivors are his wife, Anita Thomas; their children, Marty Thomas (Ginger), Mary Blackwell (Lane), Stacey Thomas (Meloney), Tina Connor (Haskell); grandchildren, Adam Blackwell (Stephanie), Elizabeth Skye Youngblood-Pressley (Donald), Camryn Gee (Brandon), Tekoa Youngblood, Jade Thomas, Mekenzie Thomas, Mason Thomas, Josi Thomas, Bryce Connor, Halle Connor; great-grandchildren, Brody, Scarlett-Mae, Charlee, J.J., Aiden and Joseph;  sisters, Margie Devine (Bob), Sue Penland Harris (Kent); and his brothers, Rick Thomas, Wayne Thomas (Debi) and Bill Thomas (Elizabeth).

A funeral service will be at 2pm Friday, October 18, 2019 in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tony Youngblood will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm in the chapel and burial will follow the service in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Dana Community Building immediately following the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Henderson County Toy Run, PO Box 2793, Hendersonville NC 28793.
