Orville Patrick

February 23, 1952 - July 11, 2013

Orville S. Patrick, 61, of Hendersonville, died Thursday, July 11.

A native of Jamaica, he had lived in Henderson County for over thirty years and had worked at Pardee Hospital in Environmental Service for twenty years. In addition to his parents,

Mr. Patrick is survived by four children, Wendy Gaffney, Chevelle Collins, Cherie Bailey and Cora Patrick; five sisters and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 PM Saturday, July 27 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Following the visitation there will be a large gathering in remembrance of his life at his home. There will be food and drink and everyone is welcome.

A funeral will be held Saturday, August 17 in Jamaica under the direction of Patmoreís Funeral Home, Trelawny, Jamaica.

We will all miss Orville at Pardee. I have been there ten years and he always was so gentle and kind. Orville spoke of retirement and also that he would miss his Pardee Family. Orville will truly be remembered and memorialized on the Pardee plaque in the corridor with other Pardee family that have left us for heaven. Prayers for you all. Rita

Both my wife and I worked with Orville at Pardee Hospital. I have great memories of working with Orville and the talks we had. He always talked about retiring and returning to Jamaica. I will miss him a lot. His family has our deepest sympathy and are in our prayers.
