Hendersonville, NC
Morgan Craft Sloan, informally known as Craft, passed away Friday, March 14, 2013, at the age of 72, while he was being cared for at the Elizabeth House. He encountered a variety of health challenges for many years, and in doing so, he also encountered many professional medical and health-care providers for whom he was deeply appreciative.
A native of Florida, transplanted to the Mountains he loved in 1995, Craft was employed by Pardee Memorial Hospital for a number of years. After retirement, he enjoyed wood working, reading and bicycle riding when his health allowed. Craft also enjoyed the fellowship of AA for 35 years and was always available to share with others the blessing of that Program.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Carolyn. He was Dad to David, Shelah, Scot, Sherah, and Morgan Jr., all of Florida; the mother of his children, Joyce Tillis. He is also survived by his siblings, sisters Barbara Fowler and Jeanene Sloan and two brothers, Walter and Gregory Sloan – all of the Tampa, FL area; 14 grandchildren; and last, but not the least, Carolyn’s two sons, Michael and Stephen Cronin and their families with whom he felt a strong and loving bond.
A memorial service may be planned for a later date.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Craft was always one of the "good guys" I am sure he is missed.
