Michael Lester ìMikeî Pressley, 65, of Hendersonville passed away Friday afternoon, March 25, 2011 at the Elizabeth House, following a courageous battle with cancer.
He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by his family.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Regenia T. ìGinaî Pressley; sons, Terry Pressley (Kelly), Ricky Pressley (Kim), and Jeff Pressley (Roxie); step-daughters, Gina Gordon (Matthew) and Michelle Finney (Ray); a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim and Lou Pressley; and sisters, Conita Serrett, Vivian McGahay, Judy Pressley, and Sylvia Ice.

I GUESS MICHAEL WAS MY FAVORITE COUSIN WE WERE MORE LIKE BROTHER AND SISTER. WHEN HIS KID(JEFF) GOT IN TROUBLE ONE OF MINE WAS (CRYSTAL) WAS CLOSE BEHIND. I HAVE MISSED HIM FOR MANY YEARS AFTER HE LEFT HERE BUT THE DAY WILL COME WHEN WE WILL SIT ON THE CREEK BANK AND TALK OF THOSE CRAZY KIDS. I REALLY WANTED TO SEE HIM BEFORE HE PASSED BUT OUR TIME WILL COME AND I AM SURE ALICE WILL BE THERE WITH US.I AM VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS AS I LOSS MY HUSBAND TO CANCER 2 YEARS AGO.I AM SURE VILLIAGE PLAYBOY ,JOHNNY HARRIS ,VINCE HAMILTON,JACK FAUCETT AND ALL THE OTHER DRIVERS MISS HIM TOO.
