Meta Christine Hyder Creasman, 86, of Dana, died Saturday, September 18, 2010, at the Elizabeth House. A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, she was a daughter of the late Burgin Eugene and Alma Frances Case Hyder, and wife of the late Clarence Leon Creasman. She was a member of Refuge Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, James Robert Creasman and wife Dawn, of Hendersonville; and a daughter, Frances Dellinger, and husband Ron of Hendersonville; and five grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Alvin Melton officiating. No formal visitation is planned.
