My heart aches for you all as I can only imagine the emptiness you must be feeling. As a mother, I believe, this is the most painful experience any parent can possibly bear. You all are in my thoughts and prayers each day. I hope you will find peace in knowing Matt touched so many lives during his short life especially those who watched him grow to become a young man.

Matt was one of my favorite little boys in elementary school. He always shared a smile, worked hard at his schoolwork, and was kind to others. I had the privilege of knowing him and although we lost touch as he grew up, I was so pleased when on Facebook,he asked for my friendship. As I look at his picture tonight, I see the same kind, soft spoken boy I knew so long ago. Blessings to Beth and the family. We are praying for all of you.

Chris, Beth and Drew - May the peace of all understanding comfort you. We all loved Matt and will always hold him in our hearts. His famous quotes will always remain part of our family "The dessert tube is always empty", when asking if anyone wants dessert and "you lose, and I win", when playing cards. We are ALWAYS here for you and love you beyond words.

Chris,Beth & Andrew We are so sorry for the loss of Matthew. We watched him grow from a chubby little boy at nine years of age to a 21 year old fine gentleman. While the loss of a loved one is never easy it is most certainly the hardest when they are taken from us too soon. Your recent loss of Matthew, who has left us at such a youthful age is certainly in the category of the most painful experience for parents to endure. We offer our sincere condolence and deepest sympathy on your loss. May the outpouring of sympathy, the kind acts of friends and strangers and the comfort in knowing that your loss is felt by many, help you through this difficult time. We ask for God's blessings on you and your wonderful family. May you find the courage and strength to move forward in peace and confidence and in knowing that his was a life well-lived.

Chris & Beth I can not imagine the pain of your loss but I do know that the sorrow of God's faithful is not permanent loss, but the tender sense of sadness that comes from having to say goodbye for now to someone so dear. I pray todays sorrow will give way to the peace and comfort of God's perfect love for you all.

Beth and Chris I wanted to let you know how sorry I am to hear about Matt. I did not know your children, but as devasted as I was losing Ralph, I can't even imagine how it must feel to lose a child. At Adam and Rachael's wedding, he came up to Betty to speak to her and he seemed like such a nice young man. I know you must have been proud of him. Please accept my sympathy and if there is anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask. I will keep all of you in my prayers. God's love will sustain you. He will never leave you. Just put your faith in him. I love you both. Martha
