my mom had just moved us from brevard to hendersonville at the begining of the school year when i was 12. the first week of school i meet this wild child, she was funny,outragous and brutally honest with everyone(tracy justice) we became best friends. not only did i find a best friend that week, but my mom and hers became best friends also.Mad became my second mom, if i couldn't go to mine with stuff i could go to her. Mad, Tracy,Candie and Bennie help me through the best and the worst times of my life. When i married at sixteen Mad told me i would be knocked up or divorced by the first year. On mine and Gregs first anniversary she called and congratulated me for her being wrong. when i had my son 7 years later, she came to the hospital to tell me what a pretty son i had and what a great dad Greg would be. When I celebrated my 20TH wedding anniversary, she emailed me to say "aren't you glad that you didn't listen to me" and for the past 7 years she sent emails saying congrates! Mad and the girls have always been part of my heart. I couldnt have become the person that i am today with out them. Girls i love you and I am so sorry for your loss...Brownie she loved you more than words can say. We now have one more angel looking over us tonight. I know your mourn now but celebrate the love and joy that she brought into our life. Mom #2 you will always be with me! I love you!

I had the pleasure to meet Madeline in 1980. I was looking for a house and checked the WCCA housing list and saw her name. I moved to a location that I tired of after awhile, so I got the list again and saw Madeline's name. I called her, inquired about a house, and she suggested Blue Star Trailer Park. NOPE Madeline. Finally in 1984 she called me and asked if I would like to RENT a house in Green Meadows. YEP Madeline. Well I've been here since June 1986 and now I pay the OWNER'S Property Taxes and insurance. THANKS Madeline for a home for me and my kids. You have tried and helped so many in life so take your rest now. Love, Marietta and Family

I will miss her so much and I loved her dearly. You girls were blessed to have had the privelage of having her as your Mom and your advocate in life. Could never ask for a more caring and loving mother. She always told us she loves us. When I joined the armed services, I received at least one letter everyday from mom, most of the time she wrote a book. How my heart hurts now but she is no longer in pain.
