Lorraine Crippen Fisher, 77, died Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Pardee Memorial Hospital.

A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, she was the daughter of the late Alan Crippen & Eloise Johnson. Lorraine is also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Fisher, Sr.

She was a member of West Hendersonville Baptist Church; where she was a Sunday school teacher and sang in the choir. She was known as MEMAW to everyone. Lorraine was a member of the Hendersonville Chorale and had an unimaginable love for her grandchildren.

She is survived by three children; Charles Fisher, Jr. and his wife Jeanene of Travelers Rest, SC, Steven Fisher and his wife Connie of Mills River, and Donna Fisher Blythe of Hendersonville; four grandchildren, Christian Fisher, Austin Blythe, Landon Blythe, and Carson Blythe; a sister, Vivian Kingery and her husband Lonnie of Greensboro, NC; and a step-sister, Ruth Thompson of Hendersonville.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at West Hendersonville Baptist Church. Rev. Tracy Fletcher will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 5, 2015 prior to the service at the church.
