Kathy Hall Lyda, 55 of Hendersonville, died Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Park Ridge Hospital. A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County she was a daughter of Mary Duncan Starner of Daytona, Florida and Robert Alwin Hall.

She was a waitress at the Dixie Diner.

Surviving in addition to her mother, is her daughter Samantha Russow and her husband Chris of Hendersonville; two grandchildren Natalie Lackey and Jason Russow of Hendersonville; and two sisters Adena Allen of Daytona, Fla. and Tina Cox of Flat Rock.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Pastor Craig Halford will officiate.
