Karen L. King, 40, formerly of Asheville and Hendersonville, passed away Monday, August 16, 2010 in Tryon, following a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
She made a lot of friends on her journey through life. She loved travel, family, her animals, and working at Petsí Delights where she had many faithful and loyal friends.
Survivors include her parents, Salvatore and Gloria Desimone of The Villages, FL; two brothers, John Desimone and his wife Bunpherm of Orlando, FL, Robert Desimone and his wife Kathann of Palm Bay, FL; seven nieces and nephews, John, Kaley, Angelina, Anthony, Kristen, Nicole, Joseph; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved friends.
A celebration of her life will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 2010, in the chapel of Forest Lawn Mortuary.
