Judy “Dianne” Cox, age 61, of Columbus, OH entered the gates of Heaven on the afternoon of Friday, April 5, 2019.

Mrs. Cox was born on Sunday, March 2, 1958 to the late Carl William and Zettie Edna (Hill) Barnwell.

On November 16, 1976 in Greenville, SC, as the former Judy Dianne Barnwell, she married her loving husband of 42 years, Mr Frank Edward “Eddie” Cox who survives.

She was a faithful member of the Baptist faith and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her three children, Joy N. Metzger and her husband, Micah of Galloway, OH, A. Scott Cox and his companion, Nikki Amason of Edneyville, NC, and Brian E Cox and his fiancée, Stephanie Mathews of Columbus, OH.  Also surviving are her nine rambunctious grandchildren, Brittany, Cameron, Cassidy, Andrew, Payton, Rebecca, Callen, Octavia and Kayla Bishop and her husband, Kolton; one great-granddaughter, Kali and one sister, Carla Sue Justus of Edneyville, NC.

Funeral services will be 11 o’clock Wednesday morning, April 10, 2019 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew A. Metzger officiating. The family will receive guests one hour prior to services in the chapel.  Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be offered on behalf of Mrs. Cox to the donor’s choice.

Dianne will forever be missed by her loving family and many dear friends.
