What a tragic loss. Joe was a fine person. He and his brother and friend built our log home in SC. We were at the site every day. Each discussion was accompanied by beautiful little sketches he would draw on pieces of paper...or boards. He was so talented. Joe worked wonders with his hands and had a great and caring work ethic...always honest and always focused on his work. He was so helpful and had such patience with us...we thought the world of him. My husband and I will always think of our cabin as a testament to Joe and his talents - to us it is perfect in every way and will stand for many, many years. How those who loved him must be grieving over this loss. Our hearts go out to his family and friends...and especially to his children who we know he loved dearly.
