On July 08, 2020, the amazing, sweet, beautiful spirit of JOANNA DORSEY DUNCAN, left its earthly dwelling to ascend to her new heavenly home after her courageous battle with cancer. She passed peacefully surrounded by her family. Joanna was born on February 03, 1972 in Kansas City, Missouri, to JOHN DAVIS DUNCAN and DIANE DORSEY DUNCAN.
She was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents Major E.L. Dorsey and Lois Tincher Dorsey; Hans Helmut Wicke, and Barbara Heinz; her Paternal Grandparents, C.A. Duncan Jr. and Billie Blanton Duncan; Lucy Watson Duncan, and her step father, Bruce Robert Pearce.

In addition to her parents, Joanna is survived by her three beautiful daughters, BRIDGET CARTER, NYLA GERSHONI and MIRANDA GERSHONI; her sister, THERESA ROBLES MUETING and Brother in law, MATTHEW MUETING; her nephews, JOHN AUSTIN THOMS, DYLAN ALEXANDER THOMS; and FOX PARKER MUETING.
She is also survived by her Fiancé and Lifetime Family Friend, CHAD ALLISON; her Second Dad, AUSTIN LEE ROBLES; her Aunt, LeAnn Duncan; her Uncle, David Duncan and wife, Lou, her Bonus Dad, Tony Beddingfield; her very special friend, David Rodriguez; her Step-Mother, Wink Duncan, Guy Gershoni; the late Maxwell Carter, along with many cousins and extended family.

Due to COVID restrictions, no public service will be held at this time. A private memorial service will be held by the family in Hendersonville. A public memorial service will be held at a later date in Texas.
