Elizabeth Kuykendall Peace

August 28, 1933 - May 23, 2019

Elizabeth Kuykendall Peace, 85, of Flagler Beach, FL, formerly of Hendersonville, passed away Thursday, May 23, at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House in Palm Coast, FL. Born in Tryon, NC, she was the  daughter of the late James Brookshire and Della Allawine Kuykendall. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Paul, Bill and Donald Kuykendall and by her husband, Ansel Luther Peace who died in 2002.

She had been a resident of Hendersonville for fifty three years and had lived in Palm Bay Florida prior to spending the last seven years in Flagler Beach. She had worked for General Electric for 23 years, retiring in 1993 and had been a member of Flat Rock Free Will Baptist Church and Upward Worship Center.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Wanda Peace Hoots and her husband Larry of Palm Bay, FL; two sons, Terry M. Peace and his wife Nancy of Flagler Beach, FL and Ronnie Parris of Greer, SC; seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A funeral will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, May 29, in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Pastors Terry M. Peace and Larry Hoots will officiate. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive guests at Forest Lawn Funeral Home for one hour prior to the service.
