Elizabeth Ann Dooley, 71, of Hendersonville, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018.

She was a native of Rutherford County and a resident of Henderson County for 32 years.

She was a daughter of the late George Howard Johnson and Annie Jolley Johnson and was also preceded in death by a son, Ray Ford and a grandson, Ryan Ford.

Elizabeth worked at Cracker Barrel for 10 years and retired in 2005. She enjoyed traveling, going for long rides and loved all animals.

She is survived by her husband, Russell D. Dooley; daughters, Robin Clark and her husband, Steve, Angela Smith, and Rhonda Capps and her husband, Thaddeus; grandchildren, Blake Clark, Ashely McAllister, Amanda Smith, Bradley Smith, Logan Ford and Taylor Harwood; great-grandsons, Jayden Clark, Ashton Gonzalez, Jackson Greene, Carter Strickland, Christian Strickland and Cash Strickland; brother, Bobby “BR” Johnson; sister, Ruby Thompson; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be at 11:00 am, Friday, July 20, 2018 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
