Doris M. Benson, 82, of Etowah, died Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at the Golden Living Center.

She was a native of Prophetstown, IL, but had lived in Henderson County for 30 years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband of 64 yrs, Edward M. Benson; three children, Elizabeth Benson, Mark Benson and Eric Benson; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. No local services are planned.
