Clay Lester Walden, 58 of Hendersonville, died unexpectedly, October 15, 2019. He was born in Marion, NC and had lived in Hendersonville for most of his life. He was an engineer for Norfolk Southern Railroad for many years. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Walden.
Surviving is his mother Judith Walden Buckley and her husband Douglas of Horse Shoe; his daughter Megan Ann Walden and son Tyler Walden both of Hendersonville; two grandchildren Leah Nelson and Lola Suarez; a brother Wesley Walden of Bristol, Virginia; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will held at 2pm on Saturday, at Shaw’s Creek Baptist Church.
