Obituary for Charles N. ìBrotherî Corn
Charles Norman ìBrotherî Corn, Jr., 57, of Fletcher, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at Park Ridge Hospital.
A lifelong resident of Henderson County, he was the son of Beulah Marie Hensley Babich of Hendersonville and the late Charles Norman Corn, Sr.. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was the owner and operator of Cornís Masonry. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and went on several mission construction trips for World Wide Evangelism. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Wishon.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 38 years, Wanda Elsie Morrow Corn; his sons, Brandon Charles Corn and his wife Hannah, Jeffrey Alan Corn and his wife Kylie; his brothers, Jackie Corn and wife Kim, Arthur Corn and wife Sheila, and Jerry Corn; a sister, Kathy Corn; two grandchildren, Brayden Charles and Makinsey Leigh Corn, whom he loved dearly and were the lights of his life; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2010, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, with the Revs. Tony Hall and Keith Russell officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00-1:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service and at other times at the residence. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
