January 16, 1940 - July 29, 2020

Carol Sue Henninger, 80, of Hendersonville, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 after a lengthy illness.  She was born in Indiana to the late Paul Kemp Jr., and Joan Harris Kemp.  She was also preceded in death by her late husband, William Henninger, and her sister Mary Jo Kemp.

Carol was a member of the Church of the Resurrection in Asheville.  She enjoyed making baby caps for hospitals and supported the Wounded Warriors Project.

She is survived by her daughter, Melody Henninger Glover and husband Larry A. Glover of Hendersonville; sons, Gregory Henninger and wife Lori Henninger of Georgia and Christopher Henninger and wife Kimberly of Hendersonville; grandchildren, Joe Rascoe and wife Lana of Louisiana, Daniel Henninger and wife Krista of Hendersonville, Vanessa Jackson and husband Nicholas of Mississippi, Bryce Henninger of Hendersonville, Cody Glover of Hendersonville, and Cory Glover of Hendersonville; great grandchildren, Hannah Rascoe, Andrew Rascoe, Noah Henninger, and Jeremiah Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2020 at eleven o’clock in the morning in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with the Reverend William G. McLoughlin officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Resurrection or the Wounded Warriors Project to the addresses below:
