Aylee Eden Alexandra Gordon, age 3, of Edneyville gained her angel wings on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. She is the precious daughter of Tim and Anya Gordon and was a student at Creative Beginnings Christian Preschool.
Aylee was 200% a daddy’s girl, and had her daddy wrapped around her finger from the day she was born. She acquired leadership skills at a very early age and loved to boss her brothers around. She was an animal lover, especially horses, and was able to ride a unicorn on her family’s summer vacation this year and she loved to tell everyone about that experience. Aylee was a beautiful, curly headed little girl who loved everything pink, unicorns, and picking flowers to bring to her mommy. She could often be found telling bugs and snakes “Don’t be afraid” after catching and holding them. She was fearless and would try anything. Her favorite saying to add to the end of every sentence was “right now.” Aylee loved group hugs before bedtime each night and would race to say her prayers quicker than her brother before bed.
She was loved immeasurably by everyone who knew her.
Left to cherish her wonderful memories are her parents, Tim and Anya Gordon; brothers, Sam and Eli Gordon; uncles and aunts, Greg and Marilyn Gordon, and Monte and Olga Blenk; cousins; grandmother, Lusi and many many friends who are like family.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

I remember Anya telling me that Aylee meant “Light”. I always thought it suited her so well because she did have such a glow and inner light. God made a very special child that He brought home so early to be with Him. Her middle name, Eden, also suits her as she will be there when you go home to be with God. In the Abrahamic religions, the Garden of Eden or Garden of God, also called the Terrestrial Paradise, is the biblical paradise described in Genesis 2-3 and Ezekiel 28 I can’t imagine the pain you are feeling. Constantly looking for her smile and listening for her voice. I only hope that the cherished memories will ease your pain and someday bring a smile to your face.

Aylee was the replica of her mama and the sparkle in her daddy's eyes, cherished and protected by her two big brothers. She gave the best hugs and kisses, and that endless cascade of honeygolden girls that framed her beautiful face...wow! Never has a child been loved and nurtured more than Aylee and her brothers. Every child deserves to be parented with the excellence of Aylee's Mama and Dada, Tim and Anya. In Isaiah 11:6 we read this about the Kingdom of God "In that day the wolf and the lamb will live together; the leopard will lie down with the baby goat. The calf and the yearling will be safe with the lion, and a little child will lead them all." Without a doubt, Aylee is leading every creature, great and small, on many wonderful and fun-filled Heaven adventures. All my love to you Tim, Anya, Sam, and Eli, and continuous prayers for the comfort of Heaven to cover you in the peace of God. ♥

Aylee has always been the kid that was afraid of nothing. “Don’t” didn’t mean she couldn’t … she literally would have figured out a way to fly . I’m sure of it! I will miss this little force of nature!
“Lovely place; modern, wonderful caring and concern for family and friends.”

I run the Acts For Adalyn Foundation, it is the first foundation to focus entirely on supporting mothers that lose a toddler suddenly and without warning. My 17-month-old daughter, Adalyn, was killed in June of 2019. We offer a support group made up entirely of mothers that are going through something similar and a keepsake bunny. Please reach out to me if you would like our support. I am praying for your family and for Aylee. I have no doubt that Adalyn met her at Heaven's Gate to show her around.
