Philip Curtis King

Philip Curtis King, 53 of Flat Rock went to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 6, 2012 at The Elizabeth House. Born in Norfolk, Virginia he was a son of Frances King of Flat Rock, and the late Sam C. King who died in 2007. He was also preceded in death by a son Curtis in 1983.
Philip was a man of God. He loved the Lord with all his heart. Phil was a Pastoral Minister for several years and helped hundreds of others. When he became ill, they in return were there to help him. It was like full circle of completion. Philip also loved building churches and riding motorcycles.
Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife Debbie King of Flat Rock; a daughter Angie Lopez; two sons Phil King and Tyler King both of Hendersonville; one sister Teresa Perry of Hendersonville; and a granddaughter Eve Lopez.
He will surely be missed. We loved him dearly.
A funeral will be held at 7pm on Wednesday at Hendersonville Pentecostal Holiness Church. Rev. Anthony Craver will officiate. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park at 10am on Thursday. |
