Life Legacy
Dale T. Nelson, 70, a life-long resident of Hendersonville County, passed away Friday September 2, 2011 at Elizabeth House following a lengthy illness.
He was a son of the late Rudolph Terry Nelson and Mary Middleton Nelson Gibson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin Nelson and Teddy Nelson.
He retired from Henderson County Maintenance Department after twenty five years of service.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Lou Capps Nelson; a son, Chris Terry Nelson and his wife Gina; two daughters, Vicki Lynn Nelson and Robin Nelson Bradley and her husband Shane; three grandchildren, Lane Bradley, Grayson Bradley and Aaron Nelson Pace; two brothers, Donald C. Nelson and Eddie S. Nelson; a sister, Kathy Hoyle and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be at 2:00 pm Monday in the chapel at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Reverend Craig Garren will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
