Patricia R. “Pat” Harris age 74 of Etowah passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, April 12, 2018.

She was born January 20, 1944, in Chattanooga TN, to the late Robert Alec and Betty Anne Roberson. She also was preceded in death by her infant daughter Elizabeth Anne Harris; daughter, Carol Elaine Harris and brother, Kenneth L Roberson.

Pat is survived by her husband of 51 years Martin W. Harris Jr.; her two sons, Martin W. “Tripp” Harris III and his wife, Michelle of Charlotte, NC, Charles P “Chuck” Harris and his wife Cati of Etowah, NC; grandchildren, Cameron T. Harris, Braydon W. Harris, Mason W. Harris and Jordan M. Ballard; brother, Charles A. Roberson (Elaine) of Chattanooga, TN; brother-in-law, Richard E. Harris (Brenda) of Tellico Plains, TN, and brother-in-law, Charles S. Harris (Teresa) of Ooltewah, TN.

A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday April 15, 2018 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Jones officiating.  Family will receive friends after the memorial service at a reception hosted at their residence in Etowah, NC.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff (McKayla, Peggy, Mary, Tony, Dreama, Stacey) of Brian Center in Hendersonville, NC and Four Seasons Palliative Care – Kristen Lowery, P.A., for the compassionate, excellent care given to Pat.
