Jane R. Handley, 93, of Hendersonville, passed away, Sunday, November 19, 2017.

A native a Bradford, RI, she was a daughter of the late David and Jane Richardson.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brothers David Jr., and George Richardson and sister Margaret Adam Jacques.

Jane retired from Belk following 27 years of service. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church was an avid golfer and loved to read.

Survivors include her son, Raymond Handley and his wife Gwen; daughters, Peggy Franklin and her husband David and Janice McCarson and her husband Rick; brother, Charles “Chuck” Richardson; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 24, 2017 in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mary Apicella officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
