Clyde Eugene Sutton, 69, of Asheville passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was a son of the late Clyde C. and Clara V. Blaylock Sutton. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Pruitt Sutton, and a grandson, Justin Kayden Sutton.

A resident of Henderson County for 35+ years, Clyde attended Mountain View Baptist Church and was a former co-owner of Blue Ridge Auto Parts. He retired from Eaton Corp and Sam’s Club. He and his wife fostered 32 children throughout the years.

Survivors include his children, Kimberly Hogan and husband, Zack, Dawn Ariel Sutton, Arrion Sutton, Glenn Sutton and Amy White, Sammie Sutton and fiancé Amy Dawson, Arron Sutton and wife, Catelyn, Kayla Sutton and Victor Sutton; grandchildren, Christopher Carmack, Jr., Zoë Skyler Alyse Hogan, Kloe Leighann Kay Hogan, Jason Clyde Worley, Wyatt James Sutton, Aria Violet Sutton, Dylan Mark Reaves and Maura Kay Sutton; mother-in-law, Thelma Coggins; sisters-in-law, Mary Pruitt and Patricia Holbert; and cousins, Blake Wilson, Jr., Denver Phillip, Debbie Blaylock and Judy Wilson.

Funeral services will be held 11am Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
