Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Mausoleum

Forest Lawn Memorial Park has one of the largest mausoleums in Western North Carolina, with 888 inside and outside crypts.

This beautiful mausoleum is six rows high, with single rise Georgia white granite, while the front patio rests on four twenty-foot columns. Tile solid granite shutters are capeo bonito red, trimmed in Andes black the inside chapel has a haven of consolation, inspiration, hope and peace.
What is a mausoleum crypt? A mausoleum crypt is a clean, dry, ventilated, completely sheltered, private above-ground burial space, sized to hold a full casket. After a traditional mausoleum service has been conducted, the cemetery maintenance staff removes the crypt front shutter and the casket is placed inside. The crypt is then sealed and the crypt front is placed back on.

By contrast, a mausoleum niche is a one-foot by one-foot space, sized to hold up to two cremains.

By pre-planning mausoleum arrangements and purchasing your choice of entombment, you can freeze the price, stop inflationary trends, and take years to pay.
